They're not the same.
Intelligence without perspective
Can shoulder the blame
Of so much that is wrong
In our world today.
Compassion and understanding
Are truly the only way
That we can overcome obstacles
And make our paths clear.
Knowledge holds us at a distance
While wisdom draws us near.
Science is critical to
Identifying our choices
But compassion guides our decisions
And grants meaning to our voices.
We must realize the value
Of the objective and subjective
And choose a path for humanity
That values us all respective
To each other.
That is our solution.
Combining logic with love
Will guide our evolution.
